This album has double the variety of an ordinary remix album, because of the great idea to include both remixed Gloom Influx songs by others and his own take on their songs as well. My favorite is of course The Algorithm one, because both these guys' style is playful and groovy and they crossed their streams in the best way possible. Given that there's over 10 different names, everybody's bound to find their favorite, whether it's distorted darksynth, spacey synthwave or raging industrial. Favorite track: The Algorithm - Idle (Gloom Influx Remix).

Equal parts electroclash and electrotrash, backed by retrowave raiders, Gloom Influx pushes out as many remixes as they bring in to this crazy first volume. Go-to for me is SurgeryHead's revamp of "Afterimage", converting it into a cybergoth cathedral and using it to grind all in its wake to dust. Good stuff man.
