Moonholders First release from Gloom Influx, and what an entrance it is. With one foot in past electronic and the other in today's retrowave, "First LP" is a nod to older artists that helped develop this genre while still carving out their own path with their adrenaline-packing style.

My two favorite tracks are "Entropy", a homage to the decade old sound found back in the haydays of the blogosphere, and "Checkpoint", a truly raw track with an 8-bit synth accompanied by guitar shreds and a driving beat. Favorite track: Checkpoint.

FLESH MECHANIC
This is probably one of my favorite synthwave albums ever. Not only are the synth parts incredibly upbeat, perfectly paced and overall just so much fun, but they're accompanied by those massive riffs that transform this album into an action synth train that is simply unstoppable. This album has so much adrenaline that it's guaranteed to get you moving. Definitely going on my workout playlist. The entire thing.
Favorite track: Metropolis.
